Phone
Volunteer: Phone volunteers are very important to WCA. They are the first
people to communicate with the public when someone finds an injured or orphaned
animal and leaves a message on the WCA phone line. All it takes to be a
phone volunteer is a phone, minimal training, and some spare time.
We have many shifts that currently are not covered, which means the
animals may not be getting to the facility or to a rehabber in time to
effectively help the animal. The best part of being a phone volunteer is that
you can help local wildlife in the comfort of your own home. If you are
interested in becoming a phone volunteer, please contact Sherry @
wcaphones@yahoo.com.
